Kabuki’s Kingdom Brief 2 _Challenge

Week 3 @MakeitinDesign Brief #2_Intermediate was really challenging for me, I did turn around and around again! The theme was getting inspired by the theatrical costumes and mood of Kabuki.

Here's my first attempt:

My first sketches I draw from as much Kabuki inspiration to create a design that invokes the Japanese theatre this is our mission at @MakeitinDesign intermediate Brief #2. 

But I was still not satisfied, so I decided to not give up and do more and here my final result 😍

Finally I am pleased with the result! NEVER GIVE UP 😍

Fauna cyanotype mockup

I really enjoy to do Fauna cyanotype mockup. 

Doing mockups give us a good idea of how our design will look on real products. Fauna cyanotype is a subject who have give me the opportunity to express  my self by just going with what comes to my mind.
I love that😄 The challenge is to be inspire by fauna and nature to create a series of silhouetted, transparent, layered and cyanotype influenced motifs and make them into patterns.

What a great theme to work with Fauna cyanotype. I find the subjet give me the opportunity to express my self by just going with what comes to my mind.

Week 2 challenge with a creative exercise_DIY Washi Tape

 Week 2 challenge for advanced class  with Makeitindesign it is Washi Tape

This is a fun challenge to relax and enjoy your day with a creative exercise. It is designed to get those creative juices flowing even more. If you wish, you can get your family and friends involved too!

Today fun challenge: DIY Washi Tape

---

Tools needed:

• Tissue Paper
• Watercolour paints
• Paint brushes
• Double sided tape
• Sclalpel scissors) and cutting mat
• Narrow cardboard tube (for inner of washi tape)

HOW TO:

• Paint the tissue paper and once the tissue paper is dry turn it over and stick a line of double sided sticky tape along one side. Trim off any excess paper before lining up the tape again on your tissue paper.

Back to be creative with winter school 2018!

I was a long time I came to my blog, but I have worked on the last couple of months on my new website, new projects and some contracts with clients. But here I am Back to a 2018 creative challenge.

How to keep going with creative challenges? I am Back to be creative with intermediate and advanced Winter school @MakeitinDesign #winterschool2018. 
Since 2015, I have taken those summer school and winter school to keep myself up to date with a new design pattern to add to my portfolio. 
In the last 2 years, I have made new friends @MakeitinDesign community. It is really fun to exchange and share other designers around the world. It even gives me an opportunity to meet some of those new friends 😉 when traveling around our beautiful planet, this really fun! 

Winter School is an exciting global online design challenge 
and this year it is from  January 08 – February 02, 2018
